    Beginning in January, the Prescott Valley Public Library (7401 E. Skoog Blvd.) will host free civics classes for those applying for U.S. citizenship. Starting on January 22nd the class will meet every Tuesday from 5:30-7:00 PM in the library’s 2nd floor PC Lab. Classes will end in 10 weeks on March 26th. Registration is required. To register go to pvlib.net>attend>classes. For more information, contact Jim Black at 928-759-6190. This LSTA project is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Civic Circle) is offering a 3 week course, “The Complete Job Search”, on Thursdays in January 2019. The class will meet January 10th, 17th, & 24th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. This course will guide you through an assessment of your personal strengths, and teach you how to complete effective applications, resumes, and cover letters. You will learn to use the Internet to search for jobs and learn effective skills for interviewing and follow-up.   10. Prescott Valley Public Library - Open Sundays!

    Starting Sunday November 18th, 2018 the Prescott Valley Public Library will begin a pilot project of opening on Sundays from 1-5pm. The pilot will run until the end of April 2019. The library will collect data and input from the community to see if opening on Sundays is beneficial to the community. In order to adjust for opening on Sundays, the library will close an hour earlier Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday 9am-7pm Friday 9am-5pm Saturday 9am-3pm Sunday 1-5pm
